Anhatha in Wayanad surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked away from all the noise, and the first thing that hit me was how peaceful it felt. The views of the mountains and the river are something you can just stare at without realizing time has passed. The infinity pool and the outdoor bathtub overlooking the mountains next to the river quickly caught my attention with the well crafted landscape.

The rooms are spacious, beautifully done and open out to that same incredible view. There’s enough to keep you entertained as well. Between snooker, a good stack of books, and even a private movie room, I never felt bored. The food was genuinely delicious and they actually took the effort to prepare things exactly the way I asked for, which I really appreciated. But the highlight for me was the hospitality. Midhun is an amazing host who makes you feel welcome and looked after without ever overdoing it. Everything here feels personal and done with care. I’m already planning another trip, and this time I’m staying longer.

About a month ago, we were in Wayanad for a shoot that was initially planned across multiple locations. During this time, we were graciously hosted by Midhun at his beautiful property, Anahatha.

Surrounded by lush greenery and with a gentle river flowing right in front, Anhatha offered us an experience that was truly exquisite. What began as just one of our planned locations soon became the heart of our entire shoot, we ended up filming completely in and around the property.

With its mist-clad mountain views, verdant landscapes, cascading waterfalls, flowing waters, and a serene infinity pool, Anhatha is nothing short of magical.

I take this opportunity to convey my heartfelt thanks to Midhun and his team for their exceptional hospitality and unwavering support. I look forward to returning to Anhatha very soon, this time, simply to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a well-deserved break.

I came here to spend my birthday, and it was everything i needed and more. I was looking for the perfect getaway, in the middle of nowhere (don’t worry, you still have access to almost everything you need, the owner and caretakers ensure that) , far away from the city bustle and deep into nature (with views ofc). This is a premium property where every nook and corner has been thoughtfully designed, and every amenity has been carefully curated for the guest’s enjoyment. The house is super spacious, can accommodate upto 20 people easily. Everything from food to medical emergencies were quickly sorted by the owner and the caretakers. I absolutely loved loved loved my stay here! If you’re looking for everything I’ve stated here, then look no further. I promise you a beautiful and relaxing experience.
My most favourite parts of the house – the bathtub (yes it has a view) and the home theatre. 10/10 would recommend!

An absolutely fantastic luxury villa, ANHATHA perfect for both stay and photoshoots. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature, with beautiful waterfalls nearby that add to the charm. The stay felt very special to us. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality made us feel completely at ease,comfortable, and given full privacy.

Every corner of the property shows incredible attention to detail. You can feel the thought process behind the design the way the spaces open up, and how the structure sits so naturally within the landscape. I’m a big admirer of the architect behind this property.

The resort is built on a cliff, with an infinity pool that opens to uninterrupted views of dense forest and a river below. Sitting by the pool and taking in that view was one of the most calming experiences of our trip. The sculptures around the property blend so well with the architecture and are perfect for portraits and photoshoots.

The living room, kitchen, and dining area are beautifully scaled and designed. The minimalist, modern style makes this place very different from typical resorts. Small touches like the grill station near the pool, a super comfortable couch to just lie back, and even a PlayStation added to the experience.

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and barely stepped out, the property itself was our getaway. Food was better than we expected, and the place was very well maintained throughout our stay.

If you appreciate modern architecture, and a peaceful escape in nature, this place is truly worth experiencing.
